Director John Landis, screenwriters Lorne Michaels, Randy Newman and Steve Martin and stars Martin, Chevy Chase and Martin Short joined forces for the clever and affectionate 1986 western comedy Three Amigos, which is enormous fun if you can overlook its very 1980s style of casual racism.
